Status Messages
Cause. DSM/SCM submitted a batch task.
Effect. You can now perform another task.
Recovery. Informational message only; no corrective action is needed.
Cause. You have already enabled Trace for the selected modules.
Effect. Depending on the module enabled, the trace output is being written to a
location shown either on the screen or in a message in the EMS log.
Recovery. Informational message only; no corrective action is needed.
Status Messages
Status messages are displayed on these screens to indicate the state of the request
being processed:

Apply-Getting Instructions
•
Apply-Processing Apply
•
Backout-Processing Backout
•
Create Snapshot-Taking Snapshot
•
Verify Database-Processing Verification
Cause. The submitted request requires a tape.
Effect. The request waits for the tape to be mounted.
Recovery. Mount the tape:
1. Press F4 to view the EMS messages for the tape and tape drive information.
2. Mount the tape, and processing automatically continues.
Cause. DSM/SCM is preparing the request for processing.
Effect. DSM/SCM displays this message.
Recovery. Informational message only; no corrective action is needed.
Task submitted and is being processed.
Trace already enabled and an output location already exists.
Awaiting operator tape mount.
Awaiting start.
