Interface Messages
These warning and error messages are displayed on the Maintenance Interface
screens:
Cause. An internal DSM/SCM error occurred.
Effect. The requested activity stops in a nonrestartable state.
Recovery. Note the error number, press Shift-F16 to exit DSM/SCM, and then contact
your service provider, and provide all relevant information:

Descriptions of the problem and accompanying symptoms
•
Details from the messages generated
•
Supporting documentation such as the $ZPHI Event Management Service (EMS)
logs and trace files (if requested by your service provider)
If your local operating procedures require contacting the Global Customer Support
Center (GCSC), supply your system number and the numbers and versions of all
related products as well.
Cause. A request is already running.
Effect. DSM/SCM does not let you start another task.
Recovery. Wait until the current request finishes before submitting another one. If
necessary, cancel the current request.
Cause. You are trying to cancel the check-out of the Configuration Manager profile, a
system profile, a software input, or a configuration revision that is being used by the
planner or activity shown on the screen. You cannot cancel the check-out of an item
that is in use by an active request.
Effect. DSM/SCM issues this warning.
Recovery. Informational message only; no corrective action is needed.
An internal error has occurred. SF16 to exit application.
Cannot begin another activity until the current one
completes.
Cannot cancel check-out; object in use by displayed request.
