Cause. An error occurred while a software input was being restored.
Effect. The requested activity stops in a nonrestartable state.
Recovery. Review the Event Management Service (EMS) messages that the restore
process issued, correct the problem that caused the error; then resubmit the restore
request.

Cause. An error occurred while a software input was being backed up.
Effect. The requested activity stops in a nonrestartable state.
Recovery. Review the Event Management Service (EMS) messages that the Backup
process issued, correct the problem that caused the error; then resubmit the backup
request.
Cause. You entered an invalid volume name while trying to either relocate the
database or specify a scratch volume when registering a target system.
Effect. DSM/SCM issues this warning.
Recovery. Retry the request with correct information:
1. Reenter a valid volume name.
2. Press F1 to relocate the database.
or
1. Reenter a valid scratch volume name.
2. Press F7 to add the target system to DSM/SCM management.
Error on writing to archive volume.
