Cause. You entered a character in a Selection field that is not next to the name of a
software input.
Effect. DSM/SCM issues this warning.
Recovery. Enter a character in the Selection field of a line that contains a software
input name; then press F4.
Cause. You entered a character in a Selection field that is not next to the name of a
system profile.
Effect. DSM/SCM issues this warning.
Recovery. Enter a character in the Selection field of a line that contains a system
name; then press F4.
Cause. You tried to modify information before viewing it.
Effect. DSM/SCM issues this warning.
Recovery. Depending on the screen, enter the name of a system or user ID and press
F2 to view information for it before pressing Shift-F2 to modify any of the data.
Cause. You pressed F4 to cancel the check-out, but the Host System profile is not
checked out.
Effect. DSM/SCM issues this warning.
Recovery. Informational message only; no corrective action is needed.
Cause. You tried to delete the host system. You cannot remove the host system from
DSM/SCM management.
Effect. DSM/SCM issues this warning.
Recovery. Enter a different system name before pressing F6.
Invalid action; expected checked out SW Input Name.
Invalid action; expected checked out System Name.
Invalid action, expected F2- View before SF2- Modify.
Invalid action; Host System is not checked out.
Invalid action. Cannot delete Host System.
