Cause. The request finished processing.
Effect. This message prompts you to shut down and restart DSM/SCM.
Recovery. Informational message only. Run the STOPSCM program; then run the
STARTSCM program.
Cause. Trace has been enabled.
Effect. Output from the trace is written to the indicated file.
Recovery. Informational message only; no corrective action is needed.
Cause. You selected 1 on the Check-out Cancellation Management Menu, but the
Configuration Manager profile on the host system is not checked out.
Effect. DSM/SCM issues this warning.
Recovery. Informational message only; no corrective action is needed.
Cause. The software input cannot be backed up or deleted because it contains files
that are part of a configuration revision.
Effect. DSM/SCM does not back up or delete the input from the archive.
Recovery. You must first delete all configurations that reference the input. Use the
Planner Interface to prepare a Configurations Using a Software Input report that lists all
the configurations using the specified input.
Cause. You entered an invalid name for the destination volume while trying to relocate
the archive.
Effect. DSM/SCM issues this warning.
Recovery. Reenter a valid volume name in the Relocate Archive to field; then press
F1 to relocate the archive.
Task successfully completed. Run STOPSCM, then STARTSCM.
