Termination Messages
Termination Messages
Termination messages are issued when ZPHIRNM terminates, either normally or
because of errors. The termination message is written to the OUT file and to the log
file, if one exists. Some of the messages refer to a file named ZSSLIST. This file
contains a list of the TSVs that ZPHIRNM is to process. For termination caused by
error or warning conditions, additional details are written to the log file.
Cause. Informational message indicating that ZPHIRNM has finished successfully.
Effect. None.
Recovery. Informational message only; no corrective action is needed.
Cause. ZPHIRNM encountered fatal errors while processing the files on a target
subvolume (TSV).
Effect. ZPHIRNM terminates immediately.
Recovery. For more information about specific errors, see the log file. Correct the
errors; then rerun ZPHIRNM.
Cause. ZPHIRNM finished processing the indicated SYS
nn
subvolume, but conditions
occurred that caused warning messages to be written to the log file.
Effect. All subvolumes were processed, but some individual files might not have been
renamed.
Recovery. For more information on specific errors, see the log file. Then correct the
errors and rerun ZPHIRNM. This time ZPHIRNM processes only files that had errors.
Cause. ZPHIRNM already renamed the files indicated on the specified SYS
nn
subvolume.
Effect. ZPHIRNM terminates without processing any files.
Recovery. None, but check that you specified the correct SYS
nn
subvolume.
