Managing Software Input Groups or Product Groups
Managing Group Members
You can add and remove inputs or products from groups and control how group
members are displayed.
Displaying and Hiding Members of a Group
To list all the members of an input or product group in the Software in Archive window
or any other window that lists software inputs or products:
1. Click Show inputs by group or Show products by group. DSM/SCM displays
the group names. (If the button reads Show by inputs or Show by products, it is
already toggled.)
2. Select one or more group names.
3. Select Groups>Expand groups.
To hide group members so only group names are shown, select Groups>Collapse
groups.
Adding Members to a Group
To add software inputs or products to a previously defined group:
1. In the Software in Archive window or any window that lists product groups, click
Show inputs by group or Show products by group. This button might already
be toggled.
2. Select one or more inputs or products.
3. Select Groups>Add member to group. DSM/SCM displays the Add Member to
Group dialog box:
4. From the list of group names, select the group.
5. Click OK.
