Task 1: Create a New Software Revision
6. Click Copy to to copy the products to the new software revision if it is open.
New Software Revisions Window
After you select a revision, the New Software Revision window lists the products
copied from the revision you selected. It might take several minutes for the products list
to appear.
Note. When a Gxx SUT that contains both the heap manager products (T8431 and
T1269) is copied to the new software revision, the Heap Manager Selection dialog box
is displayed. This feature is supported only on systems running G06.29 and later
G-series RVUs. After selecting the desired heap manager product, click the Continue
button to copy the SUT to the new software revision. To cancel the Copy to operation,
click the Cancel button.
Note. The New Software Revision window indicates the new revision number. However, in the
Configuration Revisions window,
the revision number does not change until the new revision is
built and applied. This revision is denoted with an asterisk in the Configuration Revisions
window.
