5. Assemble the Planner Instructions to the Operator
Thus you avoid repeatedly opening and closing the dialog box for each copy
and paste. To use Notepad to assemble planner instructions from multiple
documents:
a. Double-click the document you are copying information from to open it.
b. Select the text to be copied; then press Ctrl-C (or right-click and select
Copy) to copy it to the clipboard.
c. In Notepad, position the cursor where you want to insert text and press
Ctrl-V (or right-click and select Paste) to paste the information.
d. In Notepad, select Edit>Select All; then press Ctrl-C to copy all the
instructions to the clipboard.
3. Open the New Revision window; then click the Build/Apply request as described
in Task 1: Initiate the Build/Apply Request on page 9-8. You will paste the text later
as described in Task 6: Edit the Instructions on page 9-23.
