Installation Procedure for DSM/SCM Web Interfaces
After the installation of iTP WebServer is complete, do not delete or modify the version-
specific directory (/usr/tandem/webserver/<version>) or its sub-directories.
Because the OSS symbolic links present in the directory, where the iTP WebServer
was installed, point to the directory tree. If any of these directories or sub-directories is
deleted, the entire product (starting with unpaxing the product PAX file) will have to be
reinstalled.
For details on installation and configuration of iTP WebServer, see the iTP Secure
WebServer System Administrator’s Guide.
Installation Procedure for DSM/SCM Web
Interfaces
Check that the OSS environment and the iTP WebServer software are installed. When
you install the SPR using DSM/SCM:
1. Receive the SPR from the disk or tape
2. Copy the SPR to a new revision of the software configuration you want to update
3. Build and Apply the configuration revision
4. Run ZPHIRNM
5. Run STARTSCM
When DSM/SCM is not managing the OSS, it places the T6031PAX files in TSV
ZOSSUTL. To unpax the T6031PAX files using the TACL macro COPYOSS, check that
the OSS environment is installed and active. Then perform:
1. TACL> VOLUME $<>.ZOSSUTL
2. TACL> RUN COPYOSS T6031PAX
Starting the Application
Open the Web browser and provide the URL address of the application in the address
bar. The URL consists of the IP address of the system in which you can work with the
available interfaces. For example,
http://16.107.191.176:dsmscm/ti/OI_LOGON_START.html
To make the DSM/SCM web interfaces as the default page, httpd.config file present in
the We
bServer location/conf directory should to be modified.
1. Go to /usr/tandem/webserver/conf
2. Stop the Webserver (using ./stop)
3. Append httpd.config to have these lines:
Filemap /hmi $root/root/dsmscm/hmi/MI_LOGON_START.html
