Common Command Tokens
Common Command Tokens
These command-message tokens are common to most or all commands and are
defined here only. Applicable tokens are listed with the commands but not defined
again.
ZMCS-TKN-CATALOGSUBVOLUME
specifies the physical location for the file catalog by volume and subvolume name.
It includes the node name if the file catalog is created on a node that is not your
current default node. If specified, the node name must match the node name
specified for ZMCS-TKN-FILECATALOG, if any.
ZMCS-TKN-DISKFILENAME
specifies the name of the disk file written to tape by the BACKUP or BACKCOPY
utility and cataloged as belonging to the tape file ID specified for ZMCS-TKN-
TAPEFILEID. Wild-card characters are permitted in this name.
ZMCS-TKN-FILECATALOG
specifies the logical name of the file catalog in which to create an entry. The node
name must be included if the file catalog is not on your current default node.
ZMCS-TKN-OPERATORTERM
specifies the name of a process, terminal, or $OSP.
ZMCS-TKN-OUTFILE
contains the name of the tape console. The name can be a disk file or a device,
such as a printer or terminal.
