MEDIASRV Startup Messages
The MEDIASRV process could not obtain its own ID.
A run option specified in a RUN command or startup message is invalid. Run options
are numbered in the order they appear in the RUN command or startup message. The
value for parameter-number indicates which run option is invalid. For example, if the
first run-option parameter specified in a RUN command is BACKUPCPU but this
parameter has an invalid value, parameter-number in the error text is 1.
The MEDIASRV process was not started with a process name.
The MEDIASRV process must have its PROGID set to the super ID.
When the MEDIASRV process attempted to open its $RECEIVE file, the OPEN
procedure returned a file-system error and did not finish successfully. For descriptions
of file-system errors, see the Operator Messages Manual.
During process initiation, a MEDIASRV process stops if it encounters any of:
A startup parameter specified on the startup line contains a syntax error or a value
out of range (including such errors as specification of a nonexistent backup CPU).
A nonexistent file is specified for logging or EMS output.
An unrecognized startup parameter is detected on the startup line.
Not enough memory is available to start the process.
An unrecognized startup parameter is detected in a PARAM statement.
A startup parameter specified in a PARAM statement contains a syntax error or a
value out of range (including such errors as specification of a nonexistent backup
CPU).
The volume specified in the SWAPVOL parameter is not a local disk drive.
