The volume catalog could not be removed from DSM/TC because it still contains pools.

Cause. You attempted to drop the volume catalog that contains existing pools.

Effect. The drop fails.

Recovery. To drop the volume catalog, first delete the pool entries using the DELETE

POOL command.

The pool could not be deleted because it still contains tape volumes.

Cause. You attempted to delete a pool that contains existing tape volumes.

Effect. The pool is not deleted.

Recovery. To delete the pool, first delete the tape volume entries using the DELETE

TAPEVOLUME command.
