A TMF operation could not be performed.

Cause. An attempt to perform an operation requiring a TMF transaction failed.

Effect. The command does not execute.

Recovery. In general, recovery depends on the status of TMF. TMF must be running

on your system. It TMF is not running, start it (through TMFCOM). Possibly TMF is

running but experiencing problems.

606 ZMCS-ERR-VOLUMENOTAFFECTED

A tape volume could not be deleted or altered.

Cause. An attempt was made to delete or alter a tape volume.

Effect. The command does not execute.

Recovery. Analyze the error.
