607 ZMCS-ERR-TAPEFILENOTDELETED

A tape file entry could not be deleted.

Cause. A tape file entry cannot be deleted.

Effect. The command does not execute.

Recovery. Analyze the error.

608 ZMCS-ERR-WRONGSTATUS

A tape that is ASSIGNED, SELECTED, or in USE could not be altered.

Cause. Because the tape is ASSIGNED, SELECTED, or in USE, its status cannot be

altered.

Effect. The status does not change. The command does not execute.

Recovery. If the tape is selected or in use, you must wait for it to be written to before

you can change its status. If it is assigned, you can execute a DELETE TAPEFILE

command of the files actually using the volume.
