629 ZMCS-ERR-INVALIDFILESEQUENCE

The file sequence specified is invalid for the requested operation.

Cause. An invalid file sequence was specified in the DEFINE text.

Effect. The requested operation terminates.

Recovery. Correct the specified file sequence or remove it from the DEFINE text.

630 ZMCS-ERR-WRONGSTATUSAPPEND

Unable to alter the tape volume because the current status must be ASSIGNED or

FULL, or is valid only for append-capable pools.

Cause. An attempt to alter the status of a tape volume between ASSIGNED and FULL

failed because either the specified tape volume is in an incorrect state or the pool is not

append capable.

Effect. The requested operation terminates.

Recovery. No recovery, the operation cannot occur.
