Effect. The command does not execute.

Recovery. Do not use wild-card characters when specifying the volume catalog name.

5180 ZMCS-ERR-WILDFILEIDSTATUS

The tape file ID contained wild-card characters, and STATUS VALID was used.

Cause. The tape file ID contained wild-card characters, and STATUS VALID was

used.

Effect. The command does not execute.

Recovery. Do not use STATUS VALID if the tape file ID contains wild-card characters.
