4 ZRPC-EVT-SLR-ERR
Cause. The portmapper process failed to initialize for the reason indicated by the
ZRPC-TKN-INIT-ERR token. The ZRPC-TKN-BAD-ARG token contains additional
information, if available, such as the specific argument or process that caused the
error.
Effect. The portmapper process does not start.
Recovery. Based on the values returned for the ZRPC-TKN-INIT-ERR and ZRPC-
TKN-BAD-ARG tokens, correct the problem and restart the portmapper process.
4 ZRPC-EVT-SLR-ERR
A call to the NonStop Kernel TCP/IP Sockets Library Routine (SLR) failed or returned
an error.
ZCOM-TKN-OBJTYPE
indicates which type of process reported the event. The only possible value for the
RPC subsystem is ZCOM-OBJ-PROC, the portmapper process.
ZEMS-TKN-EVENTNUMBER
is a header token that contains the event number. Its value is ZRPC-EVT-SLR-
ERR (4).
ZEMS-TKN-SUBJECT-MARK
is the standard EMS token that always immediately precedes the subject token; in
this case, ZCOM-TKN-SUBJ-PROC.
