ZCOM-TKN-SUBJ-PROC
is the only possible value that can be returned as the subject token. ZCOM-TKN-
SUBJ-PROC indicates the name of the backup portmapper process that
terminated.
ZEMS-TKN-EMPHASIS
is a header token that contains the value ZSPI-VAL-TRUE, indicating that this is a
critical event.
ZRPC-TKN-CPU
indicates the number of the CPU in which the backup process was running.
ZRPC-TKN-BKUP-FAIL-REASON
indicates the reason the backup process terminated. Possible values are:
ZRPC-VAL-BKUP-ABENDED
indicates that the backup process abended.
ZRPC-VAL-BKUP-CPU-DOWN
indicates that the CPU in which the backup process was running is down.
ZRPC-VAL-BKUP-STOPPED
indicates that the backup process was stopped.
Cause. The primary portmapper process detected that its backup stopped
unexpectedly or abended or that the backup processor is down.
Effect. If this message occurs because the backup process stops or abends, the
primary portmapper automatically tries to create a new backup process. If the message
occurs because the backup CPU failed, the primary portmapper tries to create a new
backup process after the backup CPU is reloaded.
Recovery. This is an informational message. However, if repeated, unexplained
failures of the backup process occur, contact your service provider and provide all
relevant information:
•
Descriptions of the problem and accompanying symptoms
•
Details of the messages generated
•
Supporting documentation, such as Event Management Service (EMS) logs, trace
files, and a SAVEABEND file, if applicable
If your local operating procedures require contacting the Global Customer Support
Center (GCSC), supply your system number and the numbers and versions of all
related products as well.
