679 ZTAP-EVT-CMNOTSCRATCH

DSM/TC is selecting an alternate tape volume for an output request because the

volume name specified in the DEFINE cannot be used.

ZTAP-TKN-ERRMSGNUMBER

contains the error message number for this tape server error. The number for this

error is 1021.

ZTAP-TKN-TAPE-VOLUME

contains the name of the tape volume.

Cause. The volume name specified in the DEFINE cannot be used. DSM/TC

automatically selects an alternate tape volume. If multiple volumes were specified in

the DEFINE, the next name is tried first. Otherwise an appropriate scratch tape is

selected.

Effect. The operation continues automatically.

Recovery. If no alternate should be used, reject the request. Otherwise, informational

message only; no corrective action is needed.
