The application request failed because the FILESEQ attribute specified in the

TAPECATALOG DEFINE for the file identification is incorrect.

ZTAP-TKN-ERRMSGNUMBER

contains the error message number for this tape server error. The number for this

error is 1024.

ZTAP-TKN-FILEID

contains the file identification name.

Cause. The FILESEQ attribute specified in the TAPECATALOG DEFINE for the file

identification is incorrect.

Effect. The application request fails with file-system error 594.

Recovery. Correct the FILESEQ attribute and retry the operation, or let DSM/TC

automatically determine the correct file sequence by not specifying it in the

TAPECATALOG DEFINE. For descriptions of file-system errors, see the Operator

Messages Manual.

683 ZTAP-EVT-CMNOALTAVAILABLE

An ALTER TAPEMOUNT request was attempted, and no alternate copy of the tape

volume is available.
