error is 1042.
Cause. The cause of this error can be one or more of:
•
The MEDIADEFS level is incorrect.
•
The TPTM process is not running.
•
$ZSVR was started after the TPTM process.
Effect. The application's request for TPTM services is aborted, and file-system error
751 is returned to the application.
Recovery. If a third-party tape management system is to be used:
•
Verify that the MEDIADEFS level is INTEGRATED, TPTM, or TPTMCOMPATIBLE.
•
Stop the TPTM process if it is running.
•
Start the TPTM process.
If a third-party tape management system is not to be used:
•
Verify that the MEDIADEFS level is NOT INTEGRATED, TPTM, or
TPTMCOMPATIBLE.
