ZABENDRETENTION
denotes the number of days past the creation date to keep a catalog entry for an
incomplete tape file.
A number in the range 0 through 9999 is valid for this field.
ZSUSPICIOUSTIME
due to a warning message received, ZSUSPICOUSTIME denotes that the system
clock might need correcting:
TRUE means that the clock needs correcting.
FALSE means that the clock does not need correcting.
If the time is corrected, or if the time does not need correcting, use the ALTER
MEDIADEFS command to confirm that the system time is correct.
ZAUTOMATED
denotes how many times an attempt is made to automatically select and mount a
scratch tape on an ACS tape drive. Valid values are:
ZCOMPRESSION
denotes whether compression is used when writing data to a tape. Valid values
are:
ZMCS-VAL-AUTOMATED-UNSPECIF
The value is unspecified.
ZMCS-VAL-AUTOMATED-OFF
$ZSVR requests DSM/TC one time.
ZMCS-VAL-AUTOMATED-ON
$ZSVR requests DSM/TC a total of 10 times.
ZMCS-VAL-COMPRESSION-UNSPECIF
The value is unspecified.
ZMCS-VAL-COMPRESSION-OFF
The value does not use compression
when writing the data.
ZMCS-VAL-COMPRESSION-IDRC
The value uses compression when writing
the data.
