Error Numbers 5001 Through 6000
5188
Cause. An invalid VOLUMEINDEX value was specified.
Effect. The command does not execute.
Recovery. Specify a valid VOLUMEINDEX value.
5189
Cause. The tape file read from the tape does not match the tape file specified in the
command line.
Effect. The command does not execute.
Recovery. Either mount the correct tape, or specify the correct tape file ID.
5190
Cause. The tape mounted did not match the VOLUMEINDEX specified in the
command. For example, suppose you specified that the tape mounted should be the
first tape in the set. After the tape was mounted and read, DSM/TC found that it was
the second tape in the set and, therefore, generated this error.
Effect. The command does not execute.
Recovery. Specify the proper VOLUMEINDEX for the t
ape.

Cause. MEDIACOM could not begin a TMF transaction.
Effect. The command does not execute.
Recovery. Determine why TMF cannot be started and correct the situation.
**ERROR-5188** VOLUMEINDEX is invalid.
**ERROR-5189** The tape file on the tape volume, file-name,
does not match the tape file specified.
**ERROR-5190** The VOLUMEINDEX specified does not match the
tape volume mounted.
**ERROR-5191** Unable to begin a TMF transaction.
