Error Numbers 6000 Through 6200
6027
Cause. A tape with a name you specified is already cataloged in DSM/TC.
Effect. By default, MEDIACOM does not create two tapes with the same name.
Recovery. If you want two tapes with the same name, use the OVERRIDE option
(with caution). For more information, see the ADD TAPELABEL command in the
DSM/Tape Catalog Operator Interface (MEDIACOM) Manual.

Cause. An file-system error was returned while trying to write to the OUT file.
Effect. The command does not execute.
Recovery. Analyze the file-system error.
6029
Cause. A file-system error was returned while trying to open the OUT file.
Effect. The command does not execute.
Recovery. Analyze the file-system error.
6030
Cause. An attempt was made to use the expiration information from the tape label, but
the tape label is blank.
Effect. The command does not execute.
Recovery. Specify the EXPIRATION option in the command.
**ERROR-6027** A tape with that name is already cataloged.
Use the OVERRIDE option to allow the creation of a duplicate
named tape volume outside DSM/TC control.
**ERROR-6028** File system error, error-number, occurred on
the WRITE to the out-file.
**ERROR-6029** File system error error-number occurred on the
OPEN of the out-file.
**ERROR-6030** The expiration field of the tape volume is
blank, so the EXPIRATION must be specified.
