Error Numbers 6000 Through 6200
6039
Cause. When trying to execute an OPEN, the specified error occurred.
Effect. The open fails.
Recovery. Recovery actions vary based on the specified error number. For
descriptions of file-system errors, see the Operator Messages Manual.
6040
Cause. MEDIASRV expected to receive the specified expected byte size but instead
received the specified actual number.
Effect. Processing does not continue.
Recovery. Resolve the difference between the expected and actual byte sizes.
6041
Cause. A SETPARAM resulted in the specified file-system error.
Effect. The SETPARAM fails.
Recovery. The file-system error indicates the problem that needs to be resolved. For

Manual.
6042
Cause. The RECOVER DISKFILE directive attempted to create RESTORE process
(to effect a restore operation), but the attempt failed.
Effect. The RECOVER DISKFILE directive fails.
Recovery. The process creation error indicates the problem that needs to be resolved.

**ERROR-6039** OPEN error error.
**ERROR-6040** The tape block position size expected was
expected-number bytes when actual-number bytes were actually
received.
**ERROR-6041** SETPARAM returned File System error system-
error.
**ERROR-6042** The RESTORE PROCESS_CREATE_ failed with error
system-error, detail error number.
