7 $ZSVR Error Messages
Error Numbers 6300 Through 6500
The messages in this section are error messages that are returned to any console that
is executing a DSM/TC operator interface (MEDIACOM) session. These messages are
returned at the MEDIACOM prompt after attempting to complete a command. For the
text portions of EMS messages from the Tape Server Process, $ZSVR, see Section 11,
Tape Server Process Messages.
The errors are listed in numeric order. However, not all available error numbers in the
range 6300 through 6500 are used. Error numbers not listed are reserved for future
use.
6301
Cause. The tape server returned a file-system error.
Effect. The command does not execute.
Recovery. Analyze the error.
6302
Cause. The mount ID you specified does not exist.
Effect. The command does not execute.
Recovery. Check the desired ID and reexecute the command.
6303
Cause. You specified ACCEPT TAPEMOUNT for a labeled tape request.
Effect. The command does not execute.
Recovery. Do not specify ACCEPT TAPEMOUNT for a labeled tape request.
**ERROR-6301** $ZSVR returned File System error error-number.
**ERROR-6302** The specified mount id does not exist.
**ERROR-6303** ACCEPT TAPEMOUNT is only allowed on unlabeled
tape requests.
