Error Messages
Error Numbers 6700 Through 6799
The error messages in this section are returned as a result of internal errors between
MEDIASRV and the Subsystem Programmatic Interface (SPI).
The errors are listed in numeric order
. However, not all available error numbers in the
range 6700 through 6799 are used. Error numbers not listed are reserved for future
use.
6701
Cause. The MEDIASRV process returned an internal error.
Effect. The command does not execute.
Recovery. Contact your service provider.
6702
Cause. The MEDIASRV process received an SPI error while saving the current buffer
position.
Effect. The command does not execute.
Recovery. Contact your service provider.
6703
Cause. The MEDIASRV process received an SPI error while restoring the saved
buffer position.
Effect. The command does not execute.
Recovery. Contact your service provider.
**ERROR-6701** MEDIASRV replied with internal error, error-
number.
**ERROR-6702** MEDIASRV encountered SPI error, error-number,
while saving the current buffer position.
**ERROR-6703** MEDIASRV encountered SPI error, error-number,
while restoring the saved buffer position.
