Cause. The volume catalog you specified already exists.
Effect. The volume catalog you are trying to create is not created.
Recovery. Because the volume catalog already exists, no recovery is necessary. If
you specified a volume catalog name incorrectly, retype and resubmit the correct
name.

Cause. The volume catalog you specified does not exist.
Effect. The command does not execute.
Recovery. Specify an existing volume catalog.

Cause. You attempted to drop the file catalog that contains existing tape files.
Effect. The drop fails.
Recovery. To drop the file catalog, first delete the t
ape file entries using the DELETE
TAPEFILE command.

Cause. You attempted to drop the volume catalog that contains existing pools.
Effect. The drop fails.
Recovery. To drop the volume catalog, first delete the pool entries using the DELETE
POOL command.
**ERROR-304** The volume catalog already exists.
**ERROR-305** The volume catalog specified does not exist.
**ERROR-306** The file catalog is not empty. Use the DELETE
TAPEFILE command to empty the file catalog.
**ERROR-307** The volume catalog contains pools. Use the
DELETE POOL command to empty the volume catalog.
