12 MEDIACOM Warning Messages
Warning Messages 100, 900, and 6306
The warning messages in this section are returned to any console executing a
MEDIACOM session. Messages 100 and 900 originate from the DSM/TC catalog
manager (MEDIADBM). Message 6306 originates from the tape server process,
$ZSVR.
100
Cause. A command was specified that did not match any information in the SQL
database.
Effect. The command does not execute.
Recovery. Specify the appropriate search pattern for the information you want to
match.
907
Cause. No tape volumes matching the search pattern were found.
Effect. The command does not execute.
Recovery. Verify that the tape volumes exist and execute the command again.
908
Cause. The tape volume you are attempting to write to has not expired.
Effect. The tape is left on the tape drive until the correct t
ape is mounted.
Recovery. Verify that the tape volume can be used. If the t
ape can be used, it must be
scratched using the MEDIACOM ADD TAPELABEL command with the SCRATCH
option.
**WARNING-100** No records matched the search pattern.
**WARNING-907** No tape volumes matching name were found.
**WARNING-908** Volume volser ON drive is not expired.
