Error Numbers 1 Through 999
626  
Cause.  A file-system error was received while trying to access the file catalog. 
Effect.  The command does not execute.
Recovery.  Analyze the error.
627  
Cause.  A file-system error was received while trying to access the volume catalog.
Effect.  DSM/TC cannot complete the command.
Recovery.  Analyze the error.
628  
Cause.  The DSM/TC database reports that this tape is assigned but cannot find the 
file catalog that is using it.
Effect.  The INFO TAPEVOLUME request returns an error
.
Recovery.  The database might be inconsistent. Contact your service provider.
629
Cause.  An invalid file sequence was specified in the DEFINE text.
Effect.  The requested operation terminates.
Recovery.  Correct the specified file sequence or remove it from the DEFINE text.
**ERROR-626** File system error error-number occurred while 
accessing the CONFIG table.
**ERROR-627** File system error error-number occurred while 
accessing the POOL table.
**ERROR-628** The DSM/TC reports that this tape is assigned, 
but cannot find the associated filecatalog, or cannot locate 
the tape file information within the referenced filecatalog.
**ERROR-629** File Sequence specified is invalid for 
requested operation.
