Error Numbers 1000 Through 2000
Recovery. Use HELP for respective command to view the valid media types for that
command.
1088
Cause. The first character specified was not alphabetic.
Effect. The command does not run.
Recovery. Enter an alphabetic first character.
1089
Cause. The comment string exceeded the maximum length.
Effect. The command does not run.
Recovery. Specify a comment string that does not exceed the maximum length.
1090
Cause. The maximum length for a parameter variable was exceeded.
Effect. The command does not run.
Recovery. Do not exceed the maximum length.
1091
Cause. An FC command or an exclamation point (!) command was attempted, but
there was nothing in the history buffer.
Effect. The command does not run.
Recovery. No action is required.
1092
Cause. The USER, BACKFILE, BACKVOLUME, or ALL keyword was not specified.
**ERROR-1088** The first character must be alphabetic.
**ERROR-1089** Comment exceeds maximum length.
**ERROR-1090** Maximum length exceeded.
**ERROR-1091** No previous command to FC.
