MEDIACOM to MEDIASRV
Communications Error Messages
Error Numbers 2200 Through 3000
The error messages in this section are returned when a communications error occurs
between MEDIACOM and the MEDIASRV server process.
The errors are listed in numeric order
. However, not all available error numbers in the
range 2200 through 3000 are used. Error numbers not listed are reserved for future
use.
2202
Cause. A file-system error occurred on the I/O to the MEDIASRV process.
Effect. Command could not execute.
Recovery. Analyze the error.
2205
Cause. MEDIACOM cannot create a process name.
Effect. Commands could not execute.
Recovery. This is likely an operating system error
. Contact your service provider.
2206
Cause. A file-system error occurred on the OPEN to the MEDIASRV process.
Effect. The command does not execute.
Recovery. Analyze the error.
**ERROR-2202** File system error error-number occurred on the
I/O.
**ERROR-2205** Unable to create a process name.
**ERROR-2206** File system error error-number occurred on the
OPEN.
