MEDIASRV Syntax and Content
Error Messages
Error Numbers 5001 Through 6000
The error messages in this section are returned from MEDIASRV when you enter the
incorrect syntax or values for MEDIACOM commands. These messages can also be
received if you are accessing MEDIASRV programmatically. However, the text will
reflect the names of various options and keywords as they are seen through
MEDIACOM.
The errors are listed in numeric order. However, not all available error numbers in the
range 5001 through 6000 are used. Error numbers not listed are reserved for future
use.
5001
Cause. The node specified for AVRSYSTEM is an invalid value.
Effect. The command does not execute.
Recovery. Specify a valid node for AVRSYSTEM.
5002
Cause. More than one AVRSYSTEM was specified in the TAPECATALOG DEFINE.
Effect. The command does not execute.
Recovery. Specify only one AVRSYSTEM in the T
APECATALOG DEFINE.
5003
Cause. The AUTOSCRATCH option was not set to either ON or OFF.
Effect. The command does not execute.
Recovery. Set the AUTOSCRATCH option to either
ON or OFF.
**ERROR-5001** AVRSYSTEM \node is invalid.
**ERROR-5002** Only one AVRSYSTEM can be specified.
**ERROR-5003** AUTOSCRATCH must be ON or OFF.
