INFO TAPEDRIVE Command
INFO TAPEDRIVE retrieves the current setting of a tape drive regarding the
BLPCHECK and NLCHECK options and displays information about the drive type. If
the tape drive is a tape library drive, the command also lists its ACS address.
BLPCHECK, NLCHECK, and tape drive addresses are set with the ALTER
TAPEDRIVE command.
INFO TAPEDRIVE
entered without a tape drive name and an OUT file, sends information for all tape
drives of the current default node to your current default output file (usually your
home terminal).
\node.$tape
\node.*
is the tape drive name of the drive you are interested in. Using * instead of a tape
name includes all tape drives of the node in the report.
Include \node when the tape drive is not on your current default node.
OUT out-file
specifies where the report is displayed or written. You can name a disk file or a
device, such as a printer or terminal. If not given, the information is sent to your
current default output file (usually your home terminal).
