INFO TAPEFILE Command
1 tape drive returned.
To display information for all the tape drives on the current default node:
MC> INFO TAPEDRIVE *

To write information for all the tape drives on \STAR to a disk file on the current
default node, \SKY:
MC> INFO TAPEDRIVE \STAR.*, OUT TAPEINFO
INFO TAPEFILE Command
INFO TAPEFILE retrieves these attributes of a valid tape file entry:
The file ID in the entry
The generation number
The version number
The expiration date of the entry
The type of application that created the tape file
The date and time the entry was created
INFO TAPEFILE
entered without a tape file ID and the other options, retrieves information on the
latest generation of all types of tape file entries in the default file catalog. A brief
report is sent to your current default output file (usually your home terminal).
