ALL
use all entry types. The default is ALL.
BACKFILE
only use entries for backup tapes created in file mode.
BACKVOLUME
only use entries for backup tapes created in volume mode.
USER

OUT out-file
specifies where the report is displayed or written. You can name a disk file or a
device, such as a printer or terminal. If not given, the information is sent to your
current default output file (usually your home terminal).
VOLUMESET
reports on all the unexpired entries of a tape set. When using this option, specify
any of the unexpired files for tape-file-id.
Wild-card characters are not permitted in tape-file-id, and you cannot give
more than one tape-file-id.
Considerations
Reporting on invalid tape file entries
INFO TAPEFILE reports only on tape file entries with a valid status. Invalid entries
for files of a multifile tape set remain in the catalog until all other entries belonging
to the tape set expire or are deleted. You can retrieve information for these types of
invalid tape file entries by using the DETAIL option of INFO TAPEVOLUME.
