INFO TAPEFILE Command
Examples

To retrieve information on the third-generation entry of a tape file created by a user
application, and display a detailed report:
MC> INFO TAPEFILE REGIONAL_SALES,&

Tape File Gen Ver Expiration Type Time Archived

seq Sequence number of tfile within the tape set when the tape set contains more
than one file (1 for the first file on the tape set, 2 for the second file, and so on).
tname Name of the tape within the tape set that contains tfile.
index Sequence number of tname within the tape set (1 for the first tape used, 2 for the
second tape used, and so on).
