LONGNAME
Tape volumes of label type BACKUP that were written with Backup and
Restore 2.0 BACKUP and that can be read with Backup and Restore 2.0
RESTORE are altered. For more information on TAPEFORMAT, see the
Backup and Restore 2.0 Manual.
NONBACKUP
Tape volumes of label types other than BACKUP are altered.
VOLCAT { \node }
{ \node.volume-catalog-name }
is the logical name of the volume catalog that owns the pool. Wild-card characters
are permitted in this name. The default is the volume catalog name set by the
VOLCAT command.
Include \node with the name when the volume catalog is not on your current
default node.
If only \node is specified, information is retrieved from all volume catalogs in the
system search list of \node.
This parameter is required if no value is available from the MEDIADEFS defaults or
previously set as a MEDIACOM session default (see the ENV Command on
page 2-89).
Considerations
Format of brief report
All report information in the brief format comes from the volume catalog, not the
tape label.
