INFO TAPEVOLUME Command

Format of detail report
The detail report format is a vertical list of items, as Figure 2-9 shows. All the report
information is taken from the volume catalog, not the tape label.
These items apply to the tape and are always included in the detail report:

tname Name of the tape. These names are listed in alphabetical order when more than
one tape is selected for the report.
pool Name of the pool in which tname is cataloged.
vcat Name of the volume catalog that owns pool.
label Type of tape label. The value of label can be:
ANSI Tape with ANSI standard label
BACKUP Tape with BACKUP label
IBM Tape with IBM-MVS standard label
TMF TMF label
type Specifies the type of tape. The value of type can be:
3480 Model 3480 cartridge tape
5120 Model 5120 cartridge tape
OPEN Open-reel tape
