RECOVER DISKFILE Command
You do not give approval for the command to execute a RESTORE run command.
oss-mx-object-name
is the name of the OSS directories, files, and SQL/MX objects that were written to
tape by a Backup and Restore 2.0 BACKUP command.
When recovering more than one disk file on the same tape file, you can give
multiple disk file names rather than entering RECOVER DISKFILE for each file.
Implicit wildcarding is permitted for OSS directories and for SQL/MX. Explicit
wildcards are not permitted, except CATALOG *. For more information on how to
specify object names, refer to the Backup and Restore 2.0 Manual.
You cannot specify a WHERE clause or TARGET specification using oss-mx-
object-name. You must use an oss-mx-restore-in-file if you want to
specify a WHERE clause or TARGET specification.
For Backup and Restore 2.0 syntax usage guidelines, refer to the Backup and
Restore 2.0 Manual.
IN oss-mx-restore-in-file
names a disk file containing:
the name of OSS directories, files, and SQL/MX objects that were written to
tape by a Backup and Restore 2.0 BACKUP command.
RESTORE options. You can use any or all of the RESTORE options with
