ADD POOL Command (Super Group Only)
Example
In this example, a tape drive request is made for bypass label processing. The tape
drive has BLPCHECK set to on. This message appears on the tape console:

To determine what action to take next:

Because bypass label processing is allowed for $TD002, enter ACCEPT
TAPEMOUNT:
MC> ACCEPT TAPEMOUNT 5
Tape drive $TD002 is connected to the application. Mount the tape specified in the
application’s run instructions on $TD002.
ADD POOL Command (Super Group Only)
ADD POOL creates a new pool in a volume catalog.
pool-name
is the logical name of a new pool. This name cannot duplicate a pool name in
volume-catalog-name, but it can duplicate a pool name in another volume
catalog.
VOLCAT \node.volume-catalog-name
is the logical name of an existing volume catalog to create the new pool in. Include
\node if the volume catalog is not on your current default node.
