EM3270 Emulation Description
Tandem terminals do not support all the 3270 terminal features. This appendix lists
which of the 3270 terminal features are supported or not supported by the EM3270
emulator and Tandem terminals.
Tables A-1 through A-9 contain detailed listings of data-stream translations performed
by the emulator and identify all unsupported, partially supported, and fully supported
features used during Tandem terminal to IBM host communications and IBM host to
Tandem printer transmissions.
When an IBM 3270 or Fujitsu 66xx terminal is in use, the EM3270 emulator is not
required to emulate a 3270, but rather matches up the particular features supported by
the terminal to the particular host with which the emulator is in session.
Supported Devices and Features
All personal computers capable of fully emulating a Tandem 6526 or 653x terminal are
supported by the EM3270 emulator.

The following is a list of IBM terminals and printers currently supported by the
emulator.
