Translation
The minimum SVF string is SVF 1; this tells the EM3270
emulator to use the default values. A zero supplied for any
value used in an SVF string tells the EM3270 emulator to
use the default value instead of zero.
If the SVF string contains a value that is not valid, the
EM3270 emulator returns X'1005' (invalid parameter sense
code) to the IBM host.
Transparent (TRN) 95 Begins a transparent data stream. A transparent data stream
consists of user-defined data that is not scanned for SCS
printer control codes. The TR order is followed by a count
byte that contains the number of transparent bytes (not
including the count byte).
Vertical Channel 9Cnn Positions the paper to a line corresponding to vertical
channel. Table A-10 shows the value for each channel
number “nn”.
The line numbers that correspond to the 12 vertical channels
are set by the SVF order. Channel 1 is the value of TM;
channels 2 through 12 are the values of T1 through T11.
When the current line number is greater than or equal to the
line number for the selected channel, the paper is positioned
to that line on the next page.
When no line number has been assigned to the channel, an
LF is performed.
Vertical Tab (VT) 0B Positions the paper to the next vertical tab stop. When no
vertical tab has been set to the number of a line below the
current line, an LF is performed.
