Starting the Tandem Application for Kanji
SET ALIAS3 “FUJITSU HOST (AIM1)”
ADD $ATP.#T1 --Add PC6530-J terminal.

At this point, the EM3270 emulator is operational and the status message “EM3270
KANJI EXAMPLE” displays on line 25 of CRT1. This does not display on CRT2 and
CRT3.
Starting the Tandem Application for Kanji
The Tandem application (Pathway) for the dual-application session on CRT1, CRT2, and
CRT3 is started by the following commands:
PATHMON/NAME $PW,NOWAIT/
PATHCOM/IN pathfile/$PW
where pathfile contains (PATHCOM commands irrelevant to this example are omitted):
SET Pathway ... [Configure Pathway.

START Pathway COLD
SET TCP ... [Configure the TCP.
SET TCP TERMBUF 4000 [Maximum buffer size for EM3270.
