EM3270 Emulator Command Set
Messages: 1008, 1014, and 1039.
HOSTDBCS[n] { IBMKANJI | IBMMIXED | JEFKANJI | HANGUL | NONE }
describes the Kanji or Hangul data stream type of host connections. The default is 
NONE.
Messages: 1004, 1008, and 1015
HOSTCSET[n] { EBCDIC | KATAKANA }
describes the host interface code setting for a single-byte character set (not the Kanji 
character set). EBCDIC is specified when the host uses an EBCDIC code that 
includes the lower-case alphabetic character set. Katakana is specified when the 
host uses an EBCDIC-Katakana code that includes the single-byte Katakana 
character set. The default is EBCDIC.
Messages: 1004, 1008, and 1015
HUNT { ON | OFF }
specifies whether the hunt group option is to be enabled for a terminal.  HUNT has 
meaning only when DEVTYPE is set to CRT. HUNT defaults to OFF.
You can use the ALTER DEVICE command to turn the HUNT option on or off for a 
particular terminal. Also, you can use the STATUS DEVICE command to display 
the currently open host subdevice, if there is one.
Messages: 1004, 1008, and 1015.
JEF2EXT { ON | OFF }
distinguishes between the Fujitsu terminals and Fujitsu terminal emulators.  This 
value is used only if the session is with a Fujitsu terminal. If JEF2EXT is set to 
OFF, the Start Field Extended, Modify Field, and Set Attribute orders are ignored by 
the EM3270 emulator, and will not be sent to the terminal. In this case, color is not 
supported for the terminal. The default is OFF.

LIKE file-name
specifies that DEVICE parameters are to be initialized according to the previously 
added device designated by file-name. See also the LIKE parameter for processes.
Messages: 1008, 1014, 1036, and 1051.
LINK { ON | OFF | OPTIONAL IBM3270 }
specifies the type of Tandem application to set up, if any. If LINK is set to ON or 
OPTIONAL, the Tandem application is assumed to be of the same type as the device 
for this task. If the device is a Tandem terminal, a 6530 application is assumed, and 
if the device is an IBM 3270 terminal or emulator, a 3270 application is assumed. If 
LINK is set to IBM3270 and the device is a Tandem terminal, a 3270 application is
