ADVISORY text
specifies text to be displayed on line 25 of the display when the IBM host
application controls the terminal. The value of text is an alphanumeric string
enclosed in quotation marks not to exceed 30 characters in length. Characters in
excess of 30 are truncated. The default string is “3270 EMULATION MODE.” If
you specify a null text parameter (“, ”), nothing is displayed on line 25. The
ADVISORY specification applies to all terminals controlled by the EM3270
emulator process being created.

AUTORESTART{ ON | OFF }
indicates whether tasks are automatically restarted. When AUTORESTART is set to
ON, CRT and printer tasks that have entered a fault state, usually resulting from an
I/O error, are automatically restarted. All devices associated with the EM3270
emulator process are affected by this option.
To invoke this option, issue a SET PROCESS AUTORESTART ON command
before issuing the START PROCESS command. You can enable or disable this
feature in a running process using the ALTER PROCESS command.
Every 60 seconds, the EM3270 emulator stops and restarts all faulted tasks. If a task
cannot be restarted at the first attempt, it remains a candidate to be restarted at 60-
second intervals until it is successfully restarted.
To disable the restart mechanism for a specific device in the process of being
restarted, issue a STOP DEVICE command for that device. AUTORESTART has
no impact on tasks stopped by the terminal user through the shifted NEXT PAGE
key or by the operator through the STOP DEVICE command. The default value is
OFF.

CPUS cpu-number [ :cpu-number ]
specifies the primary (and, optionally, the backup) CPU where the EM3270
emulator is to run. If you specify a single CPU, the EM3270 emulator does not start
a backup process. If you specify two CPUs, the first cpu-number is the primary, and
the second cpu-number is the backup.
If you do not set a value, CPUS defaults to the CPU where EMCOM is running. If
the primary CPU is unavailable when you type START, the EM3270 emulator
