STATUS Command
object-type object-name
identifies the object for which to display status information. It can be one of the
following:
object-type object-name
DEVICE { file-name | task-number | * } [, DETAIL ]
PROCESS [ process-name ]
file-name
must be a fully qualified network terminal file name.
task-number
is the task number of the terminal for which you wish to display status
information. It is the task number from the STATUS command display.
*
specifies that you wish to display status information for all configured terminals.
The following information will be displayed for the specified terminal(s):
Each bit in the status word is interrogated and, if on, the name of the bit is displayed.
The meanings of the bits are displayed as follows:
If the task is started and has a host link open, the following is displayed:
CURRENT OPEN HOST:host-file-name
TERM
The file name of the terminal that the task has open or
last had open.
OPEN
The task is currently opened by a Tandem-based
application.
STARTED
The task is currently active.
CLOSED
The task has been previously attached to a Tandem
application, but the Tandem application has closed the
task.
KILL
The task is in the process of being terminated.
DRAINING
The task is in the process of being terminated.
Termination will occur when the Tandem-based
application closes the task on the terminal.
POWERED OFF
The terminal controlled by this task is powered off or
otherwise not responding.
RESTARTING
The task is being restarted.
