EM3270 Emulator Command Set
If the task is not started, the following message is displayed instead of the above:
STOPPED
If you specify DETAIL, the following message counts are also displayed for the
designated DEVICE:
process-name
specifies the process whose global EM3270 emulator process status information
you wish to display. If you do not specify a value for process-name, the process
set in the preceding SET PROCID command or the default value of $EM is
assumed.
The following information is displayed:
TO HOST
Count of messages sent to the IBM host system.
FROM HOST
Count of messages received from the IBM host system.
TO APPLICATION
Count of messages sent to the Tandem-based application.
FROM APPLICATION
Count of messages received from the Tandem-based
application.
TO TERMINAL
Count of messages sent to the terminal.
FROM TERMINAL
Count of messages received from the terminal.
DURATION time
The length of time since the EM3270 emulator was
started or the last STATS CLEAR command was
executed.
PROCESS
Displays the name of the EM3270 emulator process.
PRIORITY
Displays the priority of the EM3270 emulator process.
PROGRAM
Displays the program file name of the EM3270 emulator
process.
BACKUPCPU
The CPU where the EM3270 emulator backup is running
or is to be started later.
NonStop
(ON or OFF)
Shows whether the EM3270 emulator process is currently
running as a nonstop process. Note that when
BACKUPCPU is shown, NonStop OFF indicates that the
EM3270 emulator has no current backup. This is most
likely due to the backup CPU being down.
SHUTDOWN IN
PROGRESS
Indicates that the EM3270 emulator process is
performing an orderly shutdown and will terminate when
the last task is closed by the Tandem application.
LOG1 LOG2
(OPEN/CLOSED)
Indicates whether the EM3270 emulator process has a
current log file for LOG1 and LOG2. If so, the names of
the log files are also provided.
