Specify in detail the operations or tasks—for example, problem detection and isolation
for the reactive problem management function—that a user or program needs to
perform for each of your management functions.
Task 4.3: Specify the System Data Needed to Automate These
Operations
Define the data items (for example, operating system data items) needed to support
the operations defined for your management function:
Define data items in general terms, not specific to one instrumentation platform like
EMS or Measure.
Specify the type and semantics of the data items.
